Faith formation, theology unbound.

God is still at work, and we have been invited to participate!

Called to a ministry of soil and scripture by a faith rooted in creation. Working toward a world where all can flourish, heal, and be curious.

Statement of Faith

I believe in God, the Creator of the universe, the maker of heaven and earth,

of all things visible and invisible.

God has called the world into being according to God’s vision of diversity, abundance, and beauty.

God continues to act in the world, to create, and to restore the world to God’s vision of harmony

God made and continues to make humans in God’s image, inviting us to tend and care for the earth we were created from.

God exhorts humankind to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God. God cries out when we sin and oppress one another and our fellow creatures. God intimately identifies and empathizes with the marginalized, the battered, the wounded.

God calls us to live faithfully by breaking every yoke, sharing our bread with the hungry, bringing the homeless poor into our houses, and clothing the naked.

In Jesus Christ, our crucified Savior, God comes to us as a teacher, healer, and friend of all who call upon his name. Jesus blesses those who are poor, those who mourn, and those who make peace on earth. Jesus suffers alongside all who suffer, facing execution at the hands of the powers and principalities, and yet testifies by his resurrection that the powers of death and injustice are defeated by our humble Savior.

God invites us to live in community, to form and gather in places of worship, to live into our purpose as servants of all creation, to share what we have, and to open the abundant table of Christ to all people.

God breathes continual inspiration into the world through the Holy Spirit, making us strong through our diversity of cultures and languages, arts and abilities, passions and identities.

God loves us with a steadfast love that never ceases. God’s mercies are new every morning. When we fail to uphold our covenantal relationship with God, when we sin, when we do not live into God’s vision of justice and harmony, we always have the chance to turn back.

God is still at work, and we have been invited to participate!

Blessings and honor be to our God forever and ever.
